Watchlist: Caroline Rose "I Took A Ride"

Indie pop musician and Long Island native Caroline Rose began writing her own music and poems at the age of 13.

Her 2020 album Superstar was a long-awaited expression of a person's journey of losing themself and gaining the self-confidence to follow a dream. Her newfound success allowed her to tour the US with sold out shows and to perform live on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

Superstar follows a cinematic musical style in which the songs are perfectly arranged to depict a story with a beginning, middle, and end. "I Took A Ride" is a pleasant and haunting piece, with Rose's impressive and unique vocal range backed up by dreamlike synths.
